Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society has released a new On-Demand Lecture “A5: Production Process Innovation” with lecturers from Fujitsu Limited, Yokogawa Digital Corporation, JTEKT CORPORATION, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd, TOSHIBA CORPORATION, and Mazda Motor Corporation.
The fusion of digital technologies such as DX and ICT is changing the traditional concept of ” MONOZUKURI ” drastically. What should ” MONOZUKURI” be in the future super-smart society? What are the issues that need to be resolved towards that end? We invite expert engineers from leading Japanese companies that specialize in manufacturing as lecturers to learn about actual examples of the use of digital technology and AI, issues in the manufacturing field, and actual approaches and implementations, using videos provided by each company. Each week, students will post short comments on their assignment and discuss it online. Students will not take exams, but will be judged on the basis of the comments they post.
